GEORGE NEWS - Hundreds of Georgians gathered for the Annual Lights Festival on Saturday 13 December, which marked the official switching on of the city's festive lights by Mayor Browen Johnson and Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport Ricardo Mackenzie.The lively atmosphere brought families, friends and visitors together to enjoy music, food and festive cheer in a vibrant celebration of community spirit.The weekend's festivities attracted over 6 000 festival-goers to York Street, setting the tone for continued celebrations across George and surrounding areas.
