York High dancers, singers and musicians gave it their all during an amazing cabaret show last week, 16 to 18 August. The evolution of Jazz as a dance style was shared over a three-hour performance, starting with its humble beginnings, through all the stages of development. The standard of this cabaret far exceeded expectations of a school production. Linda Johnson and her dance team, as well as the singers and the school orchestra, received many accolades from a very appreciative audience all three nights, straight in a row. Well done, Yorkies!
