George Arts Theatre set to attract top artists
Now that the Oakhurst Insurance George Arts Theatre has undergone a total revamp, it is set to attract top artists from all over the country. "This theatre, our George Society of Arts, the patrons of the theatre and all those who perform in our theatre, have the opportunity to put George on the map as a premium venue for live entertainment," said Peter Grindlay, MD of Oakhurst Insurance Company Limited, at a gala evening held on Saturday 4 November to celebrate the renovations to the theatre's auditorium. Grindlay said, "With a top class venue for the performing arts I can see no reason why world class acts won't be lining up to showcase their talents in our very own theatre."
