Christmas lights mesmerise in George
Unity Park has been coming alive every evening since last Saturday, when the town's Christmas lights were switched on by George Mayor Leon van Wyk and a hard-working team of Electrotechnical Services staff. Georgians and visitors alike enjoy the festive atmosphere in York Street, as well as the famous Oewer Street in Twee Rivieren where residents took it upon themselves to create a Christmas wonderland.
