Landboukursus: Kwaggas insemineer beeste kunsmatig
Gr. 10- en 12-leerders van Hoërskool Outeniqua het vandeesweek 'n kursus in kunsmatige inseminasie voltooi. Vandag, Vrydag 7 Februarie, het hierdie 18 leerders 'n praktiese eksamen by Immergroen, 'n melkplaas van Van Greunen-boerdery, afgelê. Die kinders het twee-twee in 'n span gewerk en hulle goed van hul taak gekwyt. Die kursus is deur Gustav van Zyl aangebied, 'n veekundige van Plettenbergbaai en spesialis op die gebied van reproduksie van beeste en skape.
