Jong ‘warriors’ help boere in nood
'n Hele sleepwa én die kattebak van 'n minibussie, propvol blikkieskos, is eersdaags oppad na Victoria-Wes om die boeregemeenskap by te staan in hul tyd van nood. Leerders van Laerskool George-Suid het fluks gewerk om hierdie inisiatief van South African Water Warriors (SAWW) te ondersteun. Hulle ruim donasie is verlede Donderdag 5 Augustus deur 'n welkome reënbui geseën en is in ontvangs geneem deur bestuurslede van SAWW. Die mikpunt is om op 21 Augustus alle donasies - insluitend kos vir vee - na Victoria-Wes te neem.
