Two gift wrapping stations at Pick n Pay and Woolworths in the Garden Route Mall managed to generate R65 000 from 19 to 24 December. The funds were distributed among seven local deserving non-profit organisations: R10 000 each to Empower, Life Community Services, the George Association for Persons with Disabilities, Bethesda Care Centre, Zenzele Aftercare and the Rosemoor Service Centre, as well as R5 000 to Tuiniqua Care Centre.
