Celebrating 40 years of the Young Musicians Competition
The popular annual Young Musicians Concert, organised by the George Music Society, originated 40 years ago with a small informal concert for music teachers to showcase their best students. Initially it was more of a concert than a competition, but in time it has expanded to a full-blown competition culminating in a prize-giving gala concert.Here are some photos taken over the years.
