George
This morning thousands of George commuters had to make their way to work on foot as the GO GEORGE bus service has also been suspended pending further notice. GO GEORGE drivers are fearing for their safety and a repeat of the 2015 arson attacks that led to damage running into the millions. George Herald Journalist Zolani Sinxo reports from the scene that police and traffic officials are maintaining a high profile presence from the traffic light in Lawaaikamp right through to the Four Ways intersection in Thembalethu. The Public Order Police (Pops) are also on the scene.
