Rubbish dump in Blanco aggravates
An illegal dumping site has reared its ugly head in Blanco. According to a reader who submitted photos, the area at the top entrance to Golden Valley from Maitland Street is constantly strewn with rubbish. "Apart from it being an eyesore, it is a fire and health hazard. Anything goes. Glass, plastic, old clothes, food, garden refuse, paper. It also draws unwanted sakkrappers to the area."
