Garden Route Botanical Garden renovations

The Garden Route Botanical Garden as it is functioning today is the result of continuous projects and additions. One of the additions is the large gazebo that was erected in December 2011. The groundwork for the environmental education centre started on 17 September 2015 and it was completed in October 2016.

Neat directional signs point visitors to the various divisions in the garden.

The material and labour for the directional signs were sponsored by a local company.

Sanding the directional signs is Fred Hennop, who is a huge supporter of the garden.

The enclosure for the restaurant comes from Noordhoek, Cape Town, where it used to cover...

The standpipe being converted into a feature in the Botanical Garden's restaurant.

The sluice was completed on 21 August 2016.

These pillars were added in December 2014.
