Child Welfare rally to feed communities for Madiba Day
In the true spirit of Madiba Day, George Child and Family Welfare led a heart-warming initiative at its premises in Nelson Mandela Boulevard this morning by making 2 210 sandwiches to distribute to children in and around George.The initiative received generous support from Moore Southern Cape, who contributed an additional 160 sandwiches, and from several local businesses and institutions who rolled up their sleeves to help prepare the meals.
