Die beskadiging van die Kaaimansbrug en Silwerrivierbrug is onder Erfenis Wes-Kaap se aandag gebring. Hierdie twee brûe is die eerste brûe wat in die Sewepassepad aangetref word, vanaf Nelson Mandela Universiteit George-kampus in die rigting na Wilderness.
