George and surrounds flooding
George has received good rains since last night, 20 October, and experienced heavy downpours early this morning, causing stormwater systems within the George Municipal area to be under severe pressure. In a statement issued this morning municipal spokesperson, Debra Sauer, said they are receiving numerous complaints due to flooding and that their staff is in the field attending to them.
