GEORGE NEWS - The Wilderness Art Festival will return this October. This festival is renowned not only for showcasing artists and their artwork but also for featuring live music, book launches, talks, and demonstrations.
On Friday 18 October, the Night of 1 000 Drawings will once again be the highlight of the festival.
The event annually attracts between 90 and 100 artists from across South Africa and raises funds for non-profit organisations (NGOs).
Following last year's Night of 1 000 Drawings, more than R35 000 was donated to the Seven Passe Initiative, which operates in Touwsranten and Wilderness Heights, supporting social and academic development and nutrition schemes.
