The excitement was amplified by an array of fantastic prizes, including wine, cellphone pouches, trampoline park passes, spa treatments and exclusive sunrise beach party invitations.

And then there were the wild cards - random Noot vir Noot-style questions that got the adrenaline pumping, with tight competition among the guests covering age gaps of three generations.
The evening was hosted by the charismatic Nikki Jackman of The Joy Movement (gojoy.love), known for her TV roles, and as an ex-Isidingo actress.
She did a sterling job keeping the flow of the evening alive with her wit, impersonations and attractive stage personality.

The guests enjoyed a delicious chicken curry meal, complete with salsas and naan. Adding a personal touch, each table was decorated with clay hearts handcrafted and signed by the school's learners, which the guests could take home as keepsakes.
The participants divided into teams with creative names like Gen Gap, The Train, and the evening's champions, Free Spirit.
The overwhelming enthusiasm among the attendees made the evening a resounding success, celebrating Carpe Diem School's legacy while raising vital funds for its special needs learners.
Fun at the fundraiser for Carpe Diem.
