GARDEN ROUTE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Knysna and Plettenberg Bay are in for a loud and busy musical weekend, with some legendary South African artists lined up to take to the stages at Mel's Place and Blend this Easter.
There will be nine exciting shows at the two venues between Thursday 1 April and Monday 5 April, with some artists lined up to perform both in Plett and Knysna.
The bustling weekend will kick off in Knysna tonight (1 April) with an Ard Matthews performance at Blend Country Restaurant followed by SA rock-doyenne Karen Zoid on Friday 2 March while fellow veteran Arno Carstens will take to Mel's Place on the same day.

Saturday will see The Parlotones bring their unique sounds to Blend once again, performing there for the first time since December 2019, with Jesse Clegg on at Mel's Place on the same day. In a welcome session of musical chairs the following day (Sunday), Jesse Clegg will be performing at Blend with The Parlotones making the trip to Mel's Place.

The final day of the musical long weekend will see a different type of entertainment at Blend, with comedian Kevin Fraser lined up for some belly-laughs on Monday with Robin Auld's picnic concert set to wrap up the weekend at Mel's Place.
