GEORGE NEWS - The Mysterious Madame X turned out to be one of the best primary school productions ever to be presented in this area. Approximately 487 learners of Outeniqua Primary took to the stage to perform in a dance extravaganza. Various role players were involved in making this a hit with the public.

The stage itself was an artwork: designed by an architect-dad (André du Toit), built by a builder-dad (David Sampson) and painted by an artist-dad (Tony Noble). It presented the learners with a perfect backdrop to display their performance skills. The stage had three levels for dancing and was in the shape of an old-fashioned sailing ship, complete with railings, rope, anchors, gangplank and portholes!

Choreographer, Dalene van der Merwe, really pulled the rabbit out of the hat with her creative choreography. Outeniqua Primary salutes her for hours and hours of choreographing, explaining and demonstrating.
