ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - There was no holding back at the Dotsure George Arts Theatre on Wednesday evening, 25 October, as the cast of the Rocky Horror Tribute Show gave their all in a riveting, hilarious and colourful show.
A tribute to the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show, this production delights with all your favourite Rocky Horror songs and dances.
In the tribute show, a young, newly engaged couple travel one stormy night when trouble finds them in the form of a flat tyre. Set in by-gone times, there are no cellphones available and so the intrepid couple set out on foot to find a phone booth to call for help.
Little do they know what trouble awaits them on the other side of the door that they choose to knock on…

Rocky Horror fans are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite characters for a night of fun, mystery and absolutely marvellous entertainment.

Die George kunsteater het amptelik begin met hulle Rocky Horror Tribute Show op Woensdag, 25 Oktober. Die opvoering is sensasioneel en het teatergangers in vervoering gehad.
Die storie begin met 'n paartjie, Janet Weiss en Brad Majors wat se kar onverwags tot stilstand kom. In die stormagtige reën en donderweer gaan soek hulle skuilling. Hulle kom egter op Dr. Frank-n-Furter se spookagtige labaratorium af, waar hulle ontdek dat die dokter sy nuutste kreatuur wil ten toon stel - die goue seun, Rocky.
Die opwinding en intrige van die 1975 klassieke Rocky Horror Picture Show word besonderlik gedra deur die akteurs en hulle wyse om die karakters uit te beeld. Quintin van Biljon het 'n uitmuntende vertolking van Dr. Frank-n-Furter gelewer. Die akteurs het die gehoor gaande gehad met al hul gunsteling Rocky Horror musiek en danse.
Die huldeblyk wat hier gelewer word is te danke aan Candice Koen, onder haar kreatiewe leiding en vertolking van hierdie spel word jy meegevoer in 'n fantasie wêreld van kleur, glans, en hakke so hoog soos die standaarde van hierdie toneelstuk.
