KNYSNA NEWS - Slide guitar, harmonica, African blues guitar stylings and soul vocals all feature in the fresh roots sound of Robin Auld.
Based in Cape Town, he has performed and recorded in New York, London, California, Glasgow and Nashville. Born in Lusaka, Zambia to Scottish parents, Robin's childhood was spent alternating between Southern Africa and Scotland.
He tours nationally in South Africa regularly, playing with an electric trio, and does solo acoustic shows with a loop pedal plus stompboard. His set includes a mixture of his songs both old and new, along with interpretations of songs by other classic artists such as Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan.
Robin will take to the stage in Knysna once again on Saturday 29 June at the Knysna Yacht Club at 19:00.
