ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - The Simon van der Stel Foundation invites members, friends and the public to join them for an outing to Friemersheim on Saturday 12 September.
The day will offer an opportunity to explore the rich history and heritage of this historic village, as well as admire the colourful murals found throughout Friemersheim.
Registration will take place from 10:00 to 10:30 at the church in Kretzen Street, the first building on the left when entering the village from Great Brak River. The guided tour will start and end at the church and will focus on the history of Friemersheim and its unique heritage.
Following the tour, a brief annual general meeting will be held.
Those wishing to stay for lunch can enjoy a braai catered by The Braai House under the old oak tree.
The cost is R100 per person. Participants are requested to place the cash in an envelope with their name on it and hand it to Simon van der Stel Foundation personnel at registration.
Those wishing to attend the braai are asked to RSVP to the braai organisers so that catering numbers can be confirmed.
Everyone is welcome.
