GEORGE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - The George Music Society has lined up an incredible selection of world-class musicians to treat the music lovers of George and surrounding areas in 2019.
The first concert for 2019 will be the internationally acclaimed Zappa and Mainolfi, a cello and piano duo founded in 1994 when they met at Juilliard in New York. This concert will take place on Friday 22 February at the George Arts Theatre.
The second concert is an extraordinary group of musicians called Quatuor Avena - four saxophonists hailing from Japan, France, Italy and South Africa respectively. This takes place on Friday 5 April at the George Arts Theatre.

Founded in 1959, the George Music Society has brought high class live classical music as well as light classical music to the community for 60 years.
The society also organises the prestigious annual Young Musicians Competition for learners.
