GEORGE NEWS - The well known bass-baritone Christiaan Snyman will perform for the George Music Society at 19:30 on Tuesday 19 November at the Dutch Reformed Mother Church.
He will be accompanied by local legend pianist Dalene Brits and together they will perform lieder by Strauss, Schubert and Schumann.
Snyman studied at both Tshwane University of Technology and the University of Cape Town. He also studied with renowned singing teacher Nellie du Toit.
He started singing professionally in 2001, performing in concerts, opera productions and oratorios in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Windhoek.
He has lived in Germany and New York, performing on prestigious stages.
Tickets are available at the Arts Theatre during office hours, at www.georgemusicsociety.co.za, and at the concert. The prices are R170 for the public, R50 for children and only R120 for members.
