SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - A beautiful selection of Model-T veteran cars can be viewed from today, 13 December, at the George Museum.

The Southern Cape Old Car Club is exhibiting a selection of the cars in the Sayer's Auditorium of the museum in celebration of 100 years in South Africa. The exhibition concludes on 6 January 2024.

A special talk about the Model-T will be held at the museum on Wednesday 20 December at 11:00.

All visitors to the Southern Cape region are invited to visit this fine collection of historic veteran vehicles.

The Southern Cape Old Car Club also organises the popular George Old Car Show every year, with the next one on 10 and 11 February next year at Eden Technical High School.

View art exhibit too 

Art lovers can also enjoy an exhibition of lovely art pieces by the South Cape Association for Visual Artists (Scava) in the Sayer's Auditorium during the festive season.

Visiting hours

Visiting hours for the museum and exhibitions are from 08:00 to 16:00 on weekdays and 09:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays.
