GEORGE NEWS - As part of the George Library's Make your Mark programme, it will host the launch of local poet Archie Swanson's latest poetry collection, at the estuary.
The event will be held at George Library on Saturday 23 November at 11:00, with owner of Blue Forest Books Wolfgang Schrader interviewing Swanson.
Swanson is a long-time resident of George and his work has been published to much critical acclaim both locally and internationally.
He is the former chairperson of the South African literary journal New Contrast and is co-host of the George Poets writing circle. His work spans a vast array of themes, is thought-provoking, technically precise yet accessible, and will appeal to all poetry lovers.
Make your Mark is a series of community activities facilitated by George Library and is free and open to all.
