GEORGE NEWS - A feast of dancing enthralled guests at the Oakhurst Insurance George Arts Theatre last weekend with the show Dance Mosaic - Dancing for Dogs.
Lovers of this art form could enjoy a variety of dance styles on stage, ranging from ballet, contemporary dance and Hip Hop to ballroom dancing and Spanish dancing.
Proceeds of both shows last Friday and Saturday went to two animal welfare organisations, the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) and Oudtshoorn Dogs in Need (Odin).
Organiser Abbi Geldenhuys of Abbi Geldenhuys Academy of Ballet said she was overwhelmed by the support they received from the public.
"The welfare of animals is something that is close to my heart. It is so amazing that we could help these organisations by doing something we really love - dancing!"
Dancers and teachers of five local dance schools took part in the variety dance show held in support of two animal charity organisations, the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) and Oudtshoorn Dogs in Need (Odin).
