The concert, which included the Life Community Services Children’s Choir, God’s Kids in Action, was to raise funds for their new Conville Community Centre that is being built to serve the children in the community.
To date, the centre has been an informal structure. Life is upgrading the facility so that more efficient programmes can be conducted to service the children and youth of the area.
Programmes such as preschool, education and life skills are presented on a daily basis to meet many of the challenges in the community.
Products made by the ladies at Life as part of their Job Creation Project were on sale. Jewellery by Hope Church Zambia was on display and all contributed to the success of the evening.
The staff at Life would like to thank the public, sponsors, supporters, volunteers and friends who attended and contributed in such a meaningful way towards the evening, and ultimately the progress of the project in Conville.
