GEORGE NEWS - Young dancers of Rhythmical Seeds ventured into the national spotlight at the Dance World Cup South African Qualifiers in Gauteng earlier this month. The event was held in Centurion, Pretoria, from 11 to 16 March.
The qualifiers serve as a gateway to the prestigious Dance World Cup final which is set to take place in Prague in June and July.
Dancers from various age groups participated in dance categories such as ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, acro and hip-hop. The Rhythmical Seeds team participated in several categories.

Dance coach Lizette Gerber is super proud of her team's performance at one of the country's most prestigious dance platforms.
"Their engagement in the qualifiers has not only edged them nearer to the esteemed Dance World Cup finals, but has significantly bridged their journey into the broader dance community beyond the Garden Route," said Gerber.
"I am beyond proud of our dancers, not just for their accomplishments on the dance floor, but also for the way they represented their studio and values.
"Their dedication, resilience, and teamwork have been truly inspiring."
The Rhythmical Seeds team's results are as follows: 16 dance items received a score higher than 80%; nine items received "Top 10" rankings; three third places and one first place were achieved.
Tari Venter (14), Meckay van der Merwe (15) and Chloe Swanepoel (8): acro junior trio 82,6% (ranking 3rd.)
