GREAT BRAK NEWS AND VIDEO- The long-awaited, highly anticipated Great Brak Cabaret took place on Thursday and Friday nights, 30 and 31 May.

Every year the cabaret draws cheerful volunteers from the broader community, who lend their talent for a worthy cause: the cabaret raises money for charity.

Beneficiaries

The beneficiaries this year were Child Welfare SA Great Brak and Caws 4 Paws animal welfare charity.

The theme for this year's cabaret was Vaudeville and members of the audience were invited to dress for the theme.

Feathers, pearls and Gatsby-type hats were in abundance.

Buks en Maryna Human were judged as the best-dressed couple. 

Singer, musician and composer Petronel Baard; Caws 4 Paws' Barry Greyvenstein; and cabaret stalwarts Sulien Kamfer, Petro Taute and Lynda Murison.
