ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Do you enjoy singing? Do you love music and the beauty of harmony?
The George Male Choir invites men from George and the surrounding areas to audition for membership and become part of a proud musical tradition.
Established in 1982, the George Male Choir has been enriching communities through music, fellowship and a shared passion for choral singing for more than 40 years.
The choir is not an academic or professional choir. It is made up of ordinary men from all walks of life who simply enjoy singing together and creating the unique sound that only a male choir can produce. Whether you have previous choir experience or simply have a love of music and can carry a tune, you are warmly invited to audition.
Young men from the age of 15 years, as well as older men, are welcome to audition and join the choir.
The George Male Choir believes in nurturing a love for music across generations and welcomes members of all ages.
The choir believes that music has the power to inspire, uplift and bring people together. Beyond the music itself, members enjoy lasting friendships, camaraderie and the opportunity to perform at concerts, festivals and community events.
The choir rehearses every Tuesday evening from 18:30 to 20:15 at the Groenkloof Hub.
