GEORGE - A women's conference at the Conville community centre on Friday 9 August promises to make Women's Day a special occasion for local ladies.
The event is being hosted by Team Strong Women and they invited a big line-up of speakers including Linda Smit, Adv Merlyn Scheepers Olifant, Maria Hoogstaander, Christina Brinkhuys, Luwayda Trantraal, Vanessa Nakazono, Angelique Vezasie and Dora Blaauw to talk at the event.
The speakers will touch on the theme of 'Break the silence'.
The programme starts at 10:00 and concludes at 15:00. Lunch will be provided.
