11-13 September
Shakespeare Schools Festival at the Market Community Theatre. Support young learners in their creative adaptions of Shakespeare's plays - seven schools over three days, 30 minutes per play. Book a ticket at Webtickets.
12 September
Because of Success with Sifiso Nene at the George Arts Theatre. Multi award winning comedian Sifiso Nene has some few things to say on his new one man tour. Tickets cost R250, available on Webtickets.
15 September
The George Music Society presents Some Enchanted Evening, featuring soprano Lynelle Kenned, baritone William Berger and pianist Elna van der Merwe at 19:00 at the NG Moederkerk in George.
Tickets cost R150 for members, R190 for the public and R50 for learners, with ticket sales at the concert venue from 18:00.
18 & 19 September
Elvinia’s Dance Academy will present Coppélia at the George Arts Theatre.
Show times: Friday 18 September (18:30) and Saturday 19 September (15:00 and 18:30). General tickets cost R160 per person, while a Dinner Show option is available for R380 per person, which includes front-block seating and dinner in partnership with Hussar Grill. 18 September:
Paint & Sip at Attic Atelier (18:00-20:30). All materials included & A4 canvas to keep. Bring your own beverage and snacks. R290 per person.
