20 June:
Thriller: The MJ Dance Tribute at the George Arts Theatre (19:00).
Eagan Feb headlines this high-energy production celebrating the legacy of Michael Jackson with powerhouse dancers, dazzling costumes and iconic hits.
Tickets: R220 on Webtickets. Note: Another performance will be showcased at the Plett White House Theatre on 27 June.
20 June:
Minnesota Boys Choir and South Cape Children's Choir at the Denneoord DR Church (18:30). Tickets are R100 and R80 (pensioners and learners) on Quicket or at the door.
18-21 June:
Solstice Reflections with Liesl Jobson on bassoon and flute, accompanied by Norman Carless (flute and trumpet) and Elsabe Barkhuizen (piano). Jobson performs the poetry of music and plays the music of poems.
Her own writing has grown out of her experience as a bassoonist and contrabassoonist in the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, and as a flute and piccolo player in the Soweto Police Band.

Solstice Reflections with Liesl Jobson on bassoon and flute
19-24 June:
En Route Arts Festival in Sedgefield. This quaint little town will come alive with theatre, comedy, music, workshops and cultural experiences, with over 20 performances and events across multiple venues in town - one exhibition, two children's shows, three talks and readings, four workshops, five music performances, 11 guided tours and 15 shows (drama, comedy and political satire).

1 July onwards:
Footloose: The Musical at George Arts Theatre (19:00). Footloose is a high-energy musical about a teenager named Ren McCormack who moves to a small town where dancing and rock music have been banned.
As Ren challenges the strict rules imposed by the local pastor, the town's young people fight for freedom, self-expression, and the chance to dance again. Featuring hit songs like "Footloose" and "Holding Out for a Hero", the musical celebrates the power of music, youth and self-expression.
Tickets are R150 to R170 on Webtickets.
