GEORGE NEWS - The creative juices have been flowing for months as three dance schools are polishing their choreography for the forthcoming Dance Kaleidoscope show that is to be held at Fancourt.
The event takes place on Friday 27 October in the ballroom and promises to be a colourful extravaganza with well executed dance forms, ranging from classical ballet to contemporary.
Dance Kaleidoscope is part of Fancourt's Classical Concert series 2017/18. Performing soloists are Dana Troskie, Emma de Villiers, Monique Calvert and Nico Fourie.
Artistic director Ronell van Aswegen has invited three George dance schools - Christelle Smit Dance Studio, Elvinia's Dance Academy and York High Dance Department - to be part of the spectacular performance. The choreographers Linda Johnson, Elvinia Manuel, Christelle Smit and Jeannette Ziady have been putting the nimble dancers through their paces.
Tickets are R150 or R20 per school learner and bookings can be done by phone on 044 804 0186 or online at festiveseason@fancourt.co.za.
