GEORGE NEWS - The rugby fields at Outeniqua High are abuzz with action after the kick-off this afternoon of the Frogfoot Schools Rugby 7s Tournament being held here today and tomorrow, 9 and 10 September.
This is the fourth round of the tournament, which is televised.
Some of the high schools represented this weekend are Langenhoven Gimnasium, Stellenbosch, Framesby, Boland, Bellville, Parkdene, Grey, Oudtshoorn, Calitzdorp, HTS Eden, Diamantveld, Melkbosstrand, Hillcrest, Montagu and Oakdale.
Primary schools participating include Outeniqua, Avontuur, George South, Pacaltsdorp, Dellville Park and Niko Brummer.
Nine leading schools in their regions have been chosen to host 10 game days. Each host school invites 16 opponent schools for a day of high-level, competitive u.17 rugby sevens.

The tournament started in August and will conclude on 5 November in Pretoria.
Frogfoot says that along with its partners Vodacom, Vox, Cool Ideas, Afrihost and Joule, it will present the tournament for at least the next three years.
