GEORGE NEWS - The York first team boys will meet Knysna on Saturday afternoon in the Southern Cape hockey finals to determine the men's club championship for 2014.

The York girls were crowned the women's club champions after beating a strong Mossel Bay team 4-1 last Saturday.

The pre-matches start at 14:00 when George tackles Wanderers in the ladies play-off for third place. At 15:30 Quarry and NMMU will battle it out for the men's third place after which the finals will commence at 17:00.

All matches will be played at York's Myra Gregory astro turf.
It will be a festive affair and food and drinks will be available.
