Eden judoka shine at provincials

JUDO NEWS - The judoka of the Eden Judo Association delivered an impressive performance at the second Western Cape Open Judo Tournament of the year, hosted by Cape Town Judo in the Mother City on Saturday 16 May.

The team returned home with an outstanding medal tally and once again showcased the strength and growth of judo within the Eden district.

This tournament plays an important role in the selection process for the upcoming national schools championships, which will take place in Gqeberha from 5 to 11 July. The athletes selected here will represent the Eden judo team at the national event.

After the national championships, the competitors will have one final opportunity to secure their places in the Western Cape team before competing in the final Western Cape open and interprovincial team competition against the Eastern Cape.

The Eden judoka received numerous medals:
