GEORGE NEWS - Eden Bowls honoured its top players at the prestigious annual capping and prize-giving ceremony which was attended by players from all over the region.
The selected Eden players participated in the Inter District Nationals.
The open sides were hosted by Bowls Gauteng North, eight sides by KwaZulu-Natal Inland and the Veteran sides by Border Bowls.
Eden's Protea Player, Colleen Piketh, received the honours as woman player of the year while Henk Barnard was sportsman of the year and Gillian Young junior bowler of the year.
The most improved player awards went to Lisemi Memani ( junior), Johlene Bronkhorst (women) and Greg Young (men).
