Rebula also won the Knysna tournament in a play-off earlier this year and he was also the top performer for the Southern Cape u.16 side at the Hexangular tournament which was hosted at Sishen Golf Club early in October.
Local member Harry Scotcher was second on 76 and Heinrich Oosthuizen third with a score of 77.
Windy conditions made scoring difficult and only four players in the field managed to break 80 on the day.
The B-division was won by Simon Venter on 86 followed by Jodie Duminy and 10 year old Christo Lamprecht on 87.
Carlo Heunis won the B-division best nett prize and Ben van Wyk was the C-division winner with 32 points.
The final event on the national junior golf calendar is the SA Junior IPT to be hosted at Leopard Park Golf Club from 11-16 December and the players that will represent Southern Cape at this prestigious event are Jack Duthie (Knysna), Thomas Watson (Fancourt), Jovan Rebula and Garen Niemand (Kingswood), Xillan Nel and Aidan Boon (Oubaai), Robin Meyer (George) and Christo Carstens (Willowmore).
This is most likely the youngest side to ever represent Southern Cape at u.19 level as 6 of the players are still u16 and the other two are both only 17 years old.
Anton Nel, the team manager, is looking forward to a strong performance by the young guns this year and is confident that they will develop into a formidable unit to compete for the top spot in the next two years.
