FOOTBALL NEWS - The Lawaaikamp giants Black Cats FC failed another tough test away from home when they lost 5-1 against Ubuntu Cape Town FC on Saturday afternoon, 19 March, at the Ocean View sports field in Cape Town.
The youthful side from Cape Town netted their beautiful three goals in the first half of the ABC Motsepe League game.
The first leg between the two teams was played at the Lawaaikamp Stadium in George where the Lawaaikamp boys defeated Ubuntu 2-1.
So far, Black Cats have played 14 fixtures in this league with two victories, three draws and nine defeats and have earned nine points.
They are fighting for more points to lift them out of the relegation zone stream A of the league. The young boys from Cape Town have registered nine wins, four defeats and one draw, and at 31 points are sitting in the second position in stream A.
Glendene United netted the most goals of the weekend when they sank the struggling Police FC 6-0. Mbekweni Sundowns from Paarl played very well and managed to beat Gansbaai City 4-0.
