CRICKET NEWS - The Pacaltsdorp United Cricket Club made history on Saturday 14 March when they were crowned as the SWD Women’s Division 1 champions for the first time.
The Pacaltsdorp women, who batted first, posted 274 (all out), with a century by Mochelle May (104) the highlight of their innings.
Afterwards, they dismissed Union Stars for 79, with Gizelle Abrahams (4/30) being the top bowler for a 195-run victory.
The Harlequins Forces (154/9) won the division 2 title with an 83-run victory against Dysselsdorp (71 all out).
