CRICKET NEWS - It was another tough weekend for the Garden Route Badgers women's team after they suffered defeats in both the Hollywoodbets Pro50 and Pro20 matches against the DP World Lions at the Dobsonville Oval in Johannesburg.
In the Pro50 match, they lost by 85 runs after the target had been adjusted following a rain interruption.
For the second consecutive weekend, the Badgers lost with two balls to spare in the Pro 20match - this time by four wickets.
The Badgers women remain in the relegation zone with a critical series of upcoming matches against the North West Dragons in Potchefstroom this weekend.
