CRICKET NEWS - After a promising start to their campaign in the first half of the season in the Hollywoodbets Pro Series, the Garden Route Badgers women suffered back-to-back defeats against Western Province at Newlands last weekend, 7 and 8 February.
In the Pro50 match on Saturday, the Badgers’ batting order failed as they were dismissed for a modest 92 (all out), after which the home side surpassed the total (95/4) for a six-wicket victory.

They fought back, but could not prevent the home team reaching the target - 115/8 with two balls to spare for a two-wicket victory.
