Dubbed the Final Edition and restricted to 65 units worldwide, the newest version of the iconic W463 G-class features an all black body with chrome finishes on the grille and bumper, and bronze detailing on the 21-inch alloy wheels, mirrors, spare wheel cover, grille and front skidplate, silver brake calipers, matte side steps and AMG Sport stripes.
Inside, the interior gets black Nappa leather diamond quilted Nappa leather seats with bronze stitching and carbon fibre-like side bolsters, carbon fibre trim with a light brown interlace, unique floor mats with leather outsides and Edition badged grab handles.
Motive power is kept unchanged from the normal G65 with the 6.0-litre bi-turbo V12 again producing 463 kW and 1 000 Nm of torque, transferred to all four wheels via a seven-speed DCT gearbox. Top speed is limited to 230 km/h with the 0-100 km/h sprint over in 5.3 seconds.
Pricing in Germany starts at €310 233 (R5 004 616) although since the G65 was never offered for sale in right-hand drive, don't expect any of the 65 Final Edition's to made available in South Africa.
