This pink Jeep came to life in 1988 when Mario and a friend spent six months building it up from a 1980 bakkie.
According to Mario it runs on diesel and is very economical. It has 32 x 15" inch Cooper tyres and 10" rims.
This little Jeep has created a tradition that has been kept for 23 years. Every year on Christmas Day this Jeep and Mario takes Father Christmas for a ride through Sedgefield where Father Christmas distributes candy to children. This Jeep also has another use as a memorable marketing tool, says Mario who is in real estate.
Mario is actively involved in charity work. Some of his past and future project include make-overs for orphanages, new astro-turf at Outeniqua High School and other initiative to help the community.
He also says it’s not just the pink colour that makes this Jeep special - but also its courage to take on any obstacle.
