GEORGE NEWS - Sanca Garden Route invites the public to an evening of inspiration, talent and entertainment at its awards ceremony and fundraiser at the Rosemoor Community Centre in George on Friday 12 September (18:00 to 22:00).
The event, themed ‘Hope in Colour: Rise & Reconnect’, will shine a spotlight on young learners who took part in Sanca’s schools’ art competition, held under the theme, 'Promoting a positive future - create with colours, not with drugs'.
Artworks from seven primary schools and high schools will be displayed, and the winning pieces will feature on Sanca’s 2026 fundraising calendar.
Guests may look forward to a vibrant programme that includes a two-course meal, live entertainment, and the official awards presentation.
A local rapper and singer, N1 Jozi, will be the guest artist, while Morné Petersen of Eden FM will keep the evening flowing as MC.
With about 80 guests expected - including learners, families, community leaders and supporters - the evening promises to be both uplifting and impactful. Most importantly, it serves as a vital fundraiser for Sanca Garden Route, an organisation dedicated to helping individuals break free from the grip of substance abuse and build healthier, brighter futures.
Tickets cost R250 per person and include dinner and entertainment. For bookings and more information, contact Sanca Garden Route on 044 884 0674.
By purchasing a ticket, you’re not only in for enjoying a memorable evening, you’re also making a real difference in the lives of those affected by addiction.
