GEORGE NEWS - A man was left seriously injured yesterday morning when he was knocked over by a taxi in Nelson Mandela Boulevard in Thembalethu.
ER24 medics arrived on the scene at 07:30 to find the patient already being assessed by Metro Services.
On assessment, medics found that the man had sustained a serious injury to his leg.
The man was treated for his injuries and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to George Provincial Hospital for further care.
The driver of the taxi was not injured.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
