Body found at Victoria Bay

Update

GEORGE NEWS - The body of a man the man who went missing at Victoria Bay on Tuesday 27 December, has been found. 

According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Sgt Chris Spies, the body was retrieved by lifeguards from the ocean on Wednesday 28 December just after 17:00.

An inquest docket has been opened.

"Information available indicates the victim visited the beach the day before when he disappeared. The body was seen floating on the water and was retrieved. The next of kin is yet to identify the deceased," said Spies.
