GEORGE NEWS - George Business Chamber is grateful to the owners of the Kingswood Golf Club, Liesel Niehaus, Mike Quinn and their staff, for hosting a well attended April networking evening on 19 April at Kingwood Golf Estate.
There was a lively buzz as business folk mingled after new members were introduced.
Inclusivity
Chamber chairman Dr Dennis Farrell said the chamber intends to carry forward the ideal of previous chamber chairman, Dr Willie Cilliers, to bring about an inclusive economy for George, with business people working together to create jobs and sustainable growth.
To this end, the chamber will be throwing their weight behind the stakeholder business breakfast that was set to take place on on 24 April. The breakfast was organised by George Municipality's LED chief Pedro Oliphant to get long and short-term strategies on the table.
Farrell also spoke about the drive among business people to form a formal business organisation for Pacaltsdorp.
The next Chamber networking evening will be held at Unisa George on 24 May.
