GEORGE NEWS - The women of Murray House at the George Service Clubs (GSC) have once again been keeping their knitting needles clicking for a good cause.
Over the past few months, they have knitted a large collection of winter warmers, including jerseys, blankets, beanies, scarves, teddy bears and other handmade items, which will be donated as part of an outreach project to a crèche and old age home in Beaufort West.
The project has brought a renewed sense of purpose to the knitters who take pride in using their talents to make a difference in the lives of others.
The GSC is always running low on knitting supplies at their complexes.
Anyone who would like to donate wool or knitting supplies is welcome to contact Angelique on 044 874 7494 or drop their donations off at the GSC office at 117A York Street.
